How to check..Why is my Windows is so slow?
One of the first things to check is is there something running that is causing a slow down. This is a faily easy thing to check.
- Right Click on your taskbar. Open TaskMan.
- CPU or Memory is the most likely cause.
- Click the empty space and see what is running at the highest level.
- Right Click and end task.
Did that help? Don’t worry Windows will not let you end anything that it needs. Most of the time it may be your virus scanner. Usually will complete in 5-30 minutes.
I just wanted to say thanks for this! you saved me hours of headache. I looked in taskman and had an old scanner software that kept running and took 70% of my memory. Found it ended it then I was able to delete it from my computer!
